ST MICHAEL DEMOLITION

7/25/16 :: REGION :: STAND ALONE :: Jimmy Brennan, of Pawcatuck, snaps a photo as workers from Stamford Wrecking tear-down St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church on Liberty St. in Pawcatuck Monday, July 25, 2016. Brennan's parents were married in the church 65-years ago and he and his five bothers were all baptized there. Brennan came out Friday to watch the demolition begin and came back Monday to see if he could see them remove the altar. The church has been closed since April of 2012 when structural problems were found. The new church will be built on the original foundation. (Sean D. Elliot/The Day)
